Subway Surfers is an "endless running" mobile game co-developed by Kiloo, a private company based in Denmark and SYBO Games. The game displays colourful, whimsical design and a fast pace. It is available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms. Players of the game take the role of youthful hooligans who, caught in the act of applying graffiti to a metro railway site, take off down the tracks to escape the inspector. As the hooligan avatars run they grab gold coins out of the air while simultaneously dodging collisions with railway cars and other objects.
Subway Surfers launched in May 2012 with updates based on seasonal holidays. Since January 2013 updates have been based on a "World Tour" theme that places game action in a new city each month. Cities featured included New York City, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Rome, Tokyo, Miami, Paris, Beijing, Moscow, New Orleans, London, and Mumbai. On 6th January 2014, developer Kiloo announced that the latest "World Tour: Mumbai" (v1.17) which was released after "World Tour: London", will not be released on Windows Phone 8-powered devices.
The object of the game is to run one's hooligan character as far as possible through an endless game world by avoiding randomly generated obstacles that require the player to either jump (slide finger forward), duck (slide finger backwards) and/or dodge the oncoming trains (slide finger laterally) in a precise manner with the help of occasional power-ups. Gameplay takes place in graphical 3-D perspective. Player characters collect coins as they run; occasionally they surf on hoverboards, jump over or roll under objects, soar over the train tracks, and even run along overhead wires. Special missions reward players with bonuses for accomplishing precise tasks. Upon a wipeout, characters occasionally appear to smash into the screen. This fourth wall gag has predecessors in Crash Bandicoot and the 1999 Pepsiman videogame on PlayStation. Since January 2013 the game's monthly update features a new city as a setting. The differences are mainly graphic, as the gameplay remains much the same. Weekly city-themed "treasure hunts" earn special bonuses. Each new city installment introduces a new character who is native to the locale, and a new hoverboard bearing a design suggestive of the local culture. Both items are made available for in-game "purchase" with harvested gold coins for only a limited time, but they remain as permanent items in the player's collection. The game makes whimsical use of tourist stereotypes. The Paris version, for example, introduced a street mime character, a tricolour hoverboard based on the French flag, and souvenir hunts for miniature Eiffel towers.

Thirty Flights of Loving is a first-person interactive fiction adventure video game developed by Brendon Chung's video game studio, Blendo Games. It was released in July 2012 for Microsoft Windows, and in November 2012 for OS X. The game employs a modified version of id Software's id Tech 2 engine—originally used for Quake 2—and incorporates music composed by Idle Thumbs member Chris Remo. It follows three people as they prepare for an alcohol heist and the aftermath of the operation.
The game is a non-direct sequel to Gravity Bone (2008) and features the same main character—an unnamed spy. It was developed as part of the Kickstarter campaign for Idle Thumbs' podcast and offered alongside a free copy of its predecessor. Thirty Flights of Loving received positive reviews from video game journalists, scoring 88 out of 100 on aggregate website Metacritic. A sequel, Quadrilateral Cowboy, is scheduled for 2014.
Thirty Flights of Loving is a first-person interactive fiction adventure video game that takes about 15 minutes to complete. Using the WASD keys and mouse, the player controls the protagonist of Gravity Bone, an unnamed spy who participates in an alcohol-smuggling operation. The player works alongside non-playable characters Anita, a demolitions expert, and Borges, a forger. The game follows the group as they prepare for a heist and experience its aftermath. The robbery is omitted from the game, although it is revealed that it went wrong. Thirty Flights uses the same blocky style of art as Gravity Bone. Here, the player and Borges are in their hideout, planning for the heist.
Unlike Gravity Bone, Thirty Flights of Loving employs non-linear storytelling, forcing the player to piece together the story. During gameplay, objectives and guidance are provided through the player's interactions with objects. The player has little control over the game mechanics and is only able to move freely and pick up objects as needed to progress. Several optional actions, such as drinking alcohol, are available at several stages of the game.

Tomb Raider is a 2013 action-adventure video game published by Square Enix. Tomb Raider is the fifth title developed by Crystal Dynamics in the Tomb Raider franchise. As the first entry in a new Tomb Raider continuity, the game is a reboot that emphasises the reconstructed origins of the culturally influential lead character Lara Croft. After a delayed release from late 2012 to March 2013, the game received much anticipation and hype.[6] Tomb Raider received critical acclaim upon release, with critics praising the graphics, the gameplay, Luddington's performance as Lara, and Lara's characterization and development, although the addition of the multiplayer mode was criticised. Tomb Raider sold one million copies within 48 hours of its release, and has sold more than 4 million copies overall. Strike Fighters: Project 1 is a PC game (Combat / Flight Simulator) that primarily centers on a fictitious conflict in the Middle East between the Kingdom of Dhimar and the Empire of Paran from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. Although the countries and conflict may not be real the aircraft and weapons used are completely accurate, in fact the conflict is what could be called a typical 'proxy' war between the USA and USSR where Dhimar gets help from the United States and Paran uses imported Soviet equipment and expertise. Strike Fighters Project 1 was released in 2002. The initial reviews were of a poor unfinished game that had some exceptional 3D models of aircraft. In fact an early unfinished release of the game was sold by the leading US chain store, possibly in the publishers haste to get a game on the shelf. European users were sold a version already installed with "Service Pack 1" which had rectified many of the initial problems.
What had been released turned out to be really the starting point for a game that would improve vastly over the next few years. The developer continues to support the game with constant updates and patches (major updates are called Service Packs and there were 4 of them by 2007). Not only that, the game was designed to be moddable, and any players who had experience making computer 3D models could also add new objects for the game. First two years, the modding centered around a limited online community, but their initial work was to allow the start of a vast number of modifications and improvements to the basic game later in its life. Currently there are thousands of free modifications for the game, most of them to a very high commercial standard. The strength of the game lies in what the game player can make of it because about 95% of the modifications can be carried out by anyone.

Bloody Roar 2, is a brawler arcade game developed by Eighting/Raizing in 1999. (Also known as Bloody Roar 2: Bringer of the New Age in Japan/Europe and Bloody Roar II: The New Breed in the United States.) Transport Tycoon Deluxe is an expanded and improved version of the original game. The primary difference between the games is how signals operate. The original Transport Tycoon allows only bi-directional signals, which allow trains to pass in either direction. The deluxe version introduced uni-directional signals, that only allow a train to pass in a single direction. The change in gameplay from this alteration to signals is significant, as the old bi-directional signals would allow a train to travel in both directions. This is similar in concept to having a single lane street that would allow traffic from either end. Unsurprisingly, it was possible for two trains to try to travel in opposing directions towards each other on the same run of track. While this would not result in crashes on a properly signaled route, it required either the building of extra track to allow the trains to pass each other, or the building of a great many tracks in parallel to avoid the problem in the first place. The new uni-directional signals allowed one-way tracks to be built, which gives the player much greater control over how the railway network could be run.
This allowed for efficient routes to be built, and prevented trains from trying to travel the "wrong way" down a section of track. By incorporating both uni-directional and bi-directional signals, effective switching yards, junctions, and other useful designs could be built. It also unlocked the ability to build continental-length railroad systems by incorporating one-way rails in both directions and the ability to merge other rails with the main one. This is a highly used strategy because it allows for intercontinental transport of goods which results in high return rates for the user. The deluxe version also expanded the game to provide tropical, Arctic, and toy-town environments, as well as the classic temperate environment. The new environments came with different industries and challenges. For example, towns in the Arctic environment would not grow without regular deliveries of food, and those in the tropical environment also need access to fresh water. Also, the game lasts from 1950 to 2050.
Due to trademark issues with using names of real vehicles in the original Transport Tycoon, the default names were replaced with fictional ones in Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Players however are allowed to rename their vehicles and stations as they please, which can be useful for identifying individual services in a network. Players are also able to rename towns, which provides for a more personalized game play.

Mega Man X4, originally released in Japan as Rockman X4 , is a video game developed by Capcom. It is the fourth game in the Mega Man X series and the second game in the series to be released on the Sega Saturn and PlayStation. The two versions were released simultaneously in Japan on August 1, 1997. A North America release followed sometime thereafter, while Europe received only the PlayStation version on October 13, 1997. Critical reception for Mega Man X4 has been generally positive. Critics praised the ability to play as either X or Zero, a concept many found to expand upon the already tired gameplay formula of the Mega Man X sub-franchise. In addition to its console versions, the game was released on Windows worldwide in 1998 and 1999 and on Japanese mobile phones in 2011 and 2012. Ford Street Racing is a game commissioned by Ford for the Xbox, PC, PlayStation 2. It was also to PSP under the name Ford Bold Moves Street Racing, a name later adopted for all other consoles. An upgraded version of Metal Slug 2, titled Metal Slug X, was released in March 1999 for the Neo Geo MVS. It fixed slowdown problems from the original game, and increased the difficulty. Metal Slug X also introduced some new elements to the game system;

Many stages have the time of day changed. Instead of individual levels being set at either day or night, the stages can take place at dusk, twilight, or sunset.
It is now possible for the player character to become fat by collecting food items in every stage after Mission 2; in the original game, the obese transformation was only possible in Mission 4.
All levels contain an increased enemy count and new enemy placements, as well as different enemy characters, and new boss placements.
Vehicle types and locations are different.
There are more power-ups, POWs, and items (particularly food) in each mission. These items are often hidden.
Many environmental elements have different reactions when shot, such as exploding with unexpected results or randomly spewing out items or enemies.
Stronger versions like the heavy machine gun, flameshot, shotgun, laser rifle, and rocket launcher are available. Each deals more damage than their normal counterpart, has a different appearance and a wider (or longer) area of impact. If the player happens to be fat while using these heavier weapons, they appear differently and can cause even more damage.
Several new weapons are included: Stones, Iron Lizard, Enemy Chaser, Super Grenade, Drop Shot, and a new Golden Metal Slug, which is available in Mission 3.
The original art for Metal Slug is shown at the end of the game while the credits are rolling, instead of the black screen used in Metal Slug 2.
